Kyle M. Meintzer, CFP®

Founder & Wealth Coach

Kyle M. Meintzer runs a large financial planning practice based in Reno, Nevada, but also maintains offices in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Practitioner™, he helps clients to create a plan to protect a lifetime of wealth for themselves and their families, while still affording them the opportunity to charitably support the organizations and causes they value, such as the Wild Sheep Foundation, its' California Chapter, Nevada Bighorns Unlimited, and the National Rifle Association. In 2012 Kyle was appointed to the Sportsmen for Romney National Advisory Board, an honor the epitomizes his demonstrated commitment to conservation and strategic planning.

Kyle joined Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation in 1975 and has spent his entire financial career affiliated with the organization. When he became involved in the financial services industry' his goal was to build a career assisting clients in both growing and protecting their wealth. Having served as both an advisor and in various leadership positions over the years, Kyle has earned extensive recognition, and national honors that exemplify his personal commitment to the importance of protecting, conserving and sustaining personal heritage. His financial, business, retirement, and charitable planning services afford his clients the opportunity to actively contribute and participate in building and sustaining a heritage worth preserving in support of the longevity and survival of organizations and causes they value.

A native of South Dakota, Kyle has a thirty-seven year heritage as an active member of hunter-supported conservation organizations including the Wild Sheep Foundation, its' California Chapter, Nevada Bighorns Unlimited, Ducks Unlimited, and the National Rifle Association. His personal pursuit of the protection and conservation cause began in 1973, when he co-founded the first Ducks Unlimited chapter to exist on a military base. In 2001, he founded the California Chapter of the Foundation for North American Wild Sheep. He served for four years as the chapter President, and since 2005 as Vice President for Operations. He was later appointed to the FNAWS (now WSF) Board of Trustees, and in 2007 was elected to the Board of Directors of the Wild Sheep Foundation.

A graduate of Utah State University with a bachelor's degree in Political Science, Kyle began his professional career in the military. He served five years in the United States Air Force, where he flew EC-135 aircraft for the 4th Airborne Command Control Squadron, Strategic Air Command. At age 24, Kyle became the youngest Flight Examiner in SAC history, as well as the first 1st Lieutenant to be trusted with that assignment. He ultimately rose to the rank of Captain and held a top-secret clearance prior to honorably leaving the military to pursue what would become his life's profession, financial planning.

Madelyn S. Dreyer, FLMI

Business Operations Manager

Madelyn Dreyer is the Business Operations Manager for Kyle Meintzer, and the entire Lincoln Financial Advisors operation in San Ramon, California. She lends her thirty-two years of company experience and instutional knowledge to Kyle's practice, which makes her one of the most valuable members of Kyle's team. Her professionalism, and in-depth knowledge of cutting edge procedures, protocol and evolving business requirements ensure that Kyle's clients receive the information and insight necessary to support their financial goals and objectives in a timely and efficient fashion.

Her invaluable support allows Kyle to adhere to all compliance, human resource, facilities and finance administration requirements, while ensuring his operations function smoothly for his clients' benefit. Madelyn also provides on-going training, communications and services support for Kyle with the assistance of her full-service operations team.

She is a Registered Principal, and a Fellow of the Life Management Institute. Madelyn is a proud graduate of Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York.

Michael Strohl, CFP® ChFC

Managing Principal

Michael Strohl is the Managing Principal of the Northern California Regional Planning Office of Lincoln Financial Advisors, an organization with over 70 affiliated financial a fee-based financial. In this capacity, he aids Kyle and his colleagues as a resource in developing customized financial strategies to assist their clients in reaching their financial goals. Michael's expertise is in retirement and investment planning, as well as insurance risk analysis, and estate planning strategies.

Prior to assuming his current responsibilities, Michael served as the Regional Director of Investments for the Pacific Region of LFA from 2000 to 2005. He holds his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and CHARTERED FINANCIAL CONSULTANT designations from The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. In 2008, he earned the CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANNING COUNSELOR designation from the College of Financial Planning in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Michael graduated Cum Laude from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Economics and moved on to complete his MBA at San Francisco University.

He is a frequently called upon to speak throughout the San Francisco Bay area on the topics of retirement and investment planning, and is a past featured speaker at the Mt. Diablo chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors'.

Thomas P. Christensen, CFP®

Director of Planning

Thomas P. Christensen is the Director of Planning for the Northern California Regional Planning Office of Lincoln Financial Advisors. In this capacity, he aids Kyle as a resource to create and build financial plans that deliver a clear understanding of the financial issues and possible solutions Kyle's clients face. Tom assists Kyle in the review of case information, provides in-depth data analysis and directs a robust planning department staff to coordinate the personalized construction, coordination and implementation of effective financial plans for Kyle's growing clientele in the Reno, Nevada area.

Tom relocated to the San Ramon, California area from Portland, Oregon in 2007. There he also served as the Director of Financial Planning for the LFA's office in Portland. Tom joined Lincoln FInancial Advisors in 1991 immediately following his graduation from Portland State University. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Economics. He has earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner certification , and is currently working towards his CRPC® designation.

Tom and his wife, Jennifer, have three children. Tom's interest include home remodeling projects, gardening, strategy gaming, model railroading, coach youth athletics, and spending time with his family.
